** The times are changing. Educators have had to constantly adjust their teaching ways.

    Single Parenting                                                        Wellness and Healthy Living                         Poverty/ Illness/ Obesity                    Males In Child's Life (Father Figure)

** Due to lack of community involvement and financial set backs many items have been eliminated from schools. These items are often considered not as important if they don't make money for the school, or if they have very little interested in doing it.

Another major issue that hits the educational field these days, is the use of technology in the classrooms. How much technology should be introduced into the classroom? Although there have been proven positive results (see further reading article below), there are still those that count on it too much. They allow it to do their job for them and students don't get the teacher's best effort.
